As some of you may know, my sweet Fiance is joining the Army soon. I've personally been in a "military relationship" before, with a guy from the Navy. I started dating him while he was stationed here, so I didn't go through bootcamp or anything with him & we broke up before a deployment. After him & I broke up, I told myself that I wouldn't get into a relationship with a military member again.
About a year after Isaac (my Fiance) & I got together, his life went downhill in a blink of an eye. He started losing everything around him & he's been trying and I've been trying to help him get back on his feet, but with this economy, It's super, super hard! He's always wanted to join the Army so he thought what better time than now? Well, my whole, "not wanting to date a military man" thing soon went down the drain. It is still hard to believe that the man I want to marry and am going to marry soon is joining the Army. Don't get me wrong, I will support him through every little up & down but it's just surreal that this is happening again.
Well, anyways, so today, my sweet Fiance sold his car. Not only will it help him financially but he doesn't want to have to worry about his car once he goes into basic training & he will buy a new one once he saves up while in the Army. As stupid as it sounds, once he handed over those keys, the last thing in his possession, to the kid who bought his car, it just hit me like a ton of bricks: he is leaving soon / he is joining the Army.
I am so, so, sooo proud of him for this huge commitment & he is so about our country, it's not even funny. He is the perfect guy to join & he is excited, so I am excited for him. I'm nervous and a little sad for me. But it's not about me, it's about him right now & he is happy so I will be happy. I am standing by his side 100% & I love him.
Sorry this is such a ramble & probably doesn't make sense, but I just had to write. If you have read this far, thank you for listening to this long and pointless rant :)
Welcome to the exciting journey of a bride-to-be and her soon-to-be, Army soldier. Come with us as we explore the up's and down's of the new adventures life is throwing our way.
I love him!

Introduction, kinda..
Hello! I guess I should start off by telling you a little about myself & why I'm here. I have a passion for writing & it's the best way I can personally express myself. I have always enjoyed reading other's blogs about the struggles they go through in life.. or just simply the beautiful things one endures on a daily basis. I thought it would be a good idea for me to do the same - so here I am :)
I am 21 years old and I have an AMAZING Fiance, Isaac. We just celebrated our one year anniversary & I could never, ever imagine my life without him. He is joining the Army in a few months.. I will be going through day one with Isaac through basic training and deployments and everything else the Army throws our way. That's another reason I started this blog, was because it will definitely help me through those hard times, writing everything down always does help me.
I am also starting a "vlog" channel on youtube where I will be filming my adventures. I've always wanted to do this.. I will be filming anything from traveling to different places to wedding planning. So, if you're interested, check that out. www.youtube.com/margaritaontheroxx my first video will be up in a few days :)
Although, I would LOVE to keep writing, my eyes are heavy from looking at the computer screen for a long time, so I am going to sleep. Goodnight loves & until tomorrow :)
